Mission
Beauty for Ashes Healing Ministries exists to reflect the heart of the Father, the ministry of Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Statements of Faith
Our Foundation
Beauty for Ashes Healing Ministries exists to glorify God by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples, equipping believers, and ministering healing, freedom, and restoration through the power of the Holy Spirit. We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God and submit all doctrine, ministry practices, and personal conduct to the truth of Scripture.
The Triune God
We believe there is one true and living God, eternally existing in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, co-eternal, and of one divine essence, worthy of all worship, honor, and obedience.
The Authority of Scripture
We believe that the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. Scripture is sufficient for teaching, correction, training in righteousness, and equipping believers for every good work. The Bible is the final authority for faith, doctrine, and practice.
Creation and Humanity
We believe that God created the heavens and the earth and created humanity, male and female, in His image and likeness. Every person possesses inherent dignity, value, and purpose as an image bearer of God. Humanity was created for an intimate relationship with God, one another, and creation.
Sin and the Fall
We believe that through Adam’s sin, humanity fell from its original state of fellowship with God, resulting in spiritual death, separation from God, and the corruption of human nature. As a result, all people are sinners in need of salvation and redemption through Jesus Christ alone.
Jesus Christ and Salvation
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross as the atoning sacrifice for our sins, was bodily resurrected on the third day, ascended into heaven, and will return again in glory.
We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. Through repentance and faith, believers are forgiven, justified, adopted into God’s family, and made new creations in Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Finished Work of Christ and New Creation Identity
We believe that through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, believers have been united with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. Those who are in Christ are new creations; the old has passed away, and the new has come. Our primary identity is not found in our past experiences, wounds, temptations, struggles, or sins, but in our union with Jesus Christ as beloved children of God.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry and power of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, indwells and empowers the Church, distributes spiritual gifts, and transforms believers into the likeness of Christ. We affirm the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit, including healing, deliverance, prophecy, and the operation of spiritual gifts as described in Scripture.
Healing, Freedom, and Deliverance
We believe that Jesus Christ came to proclaim good news to the poor, heal the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom to captives, recover sight to the blind, and set the oppressed free. We believe that spiritual, emotional, relational, and physical healing are found ultimately in Christ and His finished work.
We believe that believers may experience freedom from spiritual bondage through repentance, forgiveness, prayer, discipleship, the renewing of the mind, and the power of the Holy Spirit. We affirm the biblical ministry of healing prayer and deliverance while maintaining that Jesus Christ alone is the source of true healing and freedom.
Sanctification and Discipleship
We believe that every believer is called to continual growth in holiness, spiritual maturity, and conformity to Christ. Sanctification is a lifelong process accomplished through the work of the Holy Spirit, the truth of Scripture, Christian community, prayer, worship, and faithful obedience to God.
We believe that all believers are called to make disciples and to participate in the mission of advancing the Kingdom of God on earth
The Church
​We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, composed of all true believers in Jesus Christ. The Church exists to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, care for one another, minister to the poor and oppressed, and demonstrate the love and power of God to the world
Marriage, Sexuality, and Human Identity
We believe that God created humanity as male and female and that these two complementary sexes together reflect God’s design and purposes. We believe that marriage is a sacred covenant established by God between one man and one woman.
We believe that all people are created in God’s image and deserve dignity, compassion, respect, and love. We are committed to ministering to all individuals with grace and truth, recognizing that every person is invited to experience the transforming love, healing, and redemption found in Jesus Christ.
The Sanctity of Human Life
We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God, from conception to natural death. Every human being possesses inherent dignity and value and is worthy of love, protection, and compassionate care.
The Return of Christ and Eternal Judgment
We believe in the personal, visible, and bodily return of Jesus Christ. We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the final judgment, the eternal blessedness of believers in the presence of God, and the eternal separation of those who reject God’s offer of salvation through Jesus Christ.
